| QUESTION OF THE WEEK | Reading I: Acts 8: 5-9
Reading II: Psalm 3: 15-18
Gospel: John 14: 15-21
Adult: In what ways am I most aware of God’s presence in my life? How open am I to that presence?
Child: How can we live with love each day and show that the Holy Spirit is with us?
At the Last Supper Jesus told his apostles he would be leaving them to return to the Father. In today's Gospel, he reassures them and us that we will not be alone. The Holy Spirit was sent to the disciples and is with each of us as a special helper and friend until Jesus returns to us. In the meantime, we continue to show our love for Jesus by following his commandments.

| | | | GO FLY A KITE | When was the last time you indulged in an unscheduled, undemanding, childlike pleasure? While Spring is here in her early glory take time to remember the Spring of your own life. Make a mud pie with your grandkids. Take a family bike ride. Wrap up a sandwich and spend lunchtime in the park. Let these simple acts of innocent enjoyment remind you of the joy of being a beloved child in your Heavenly Father’s eyes. Let His love and care wash over you again and feel the freedom of being forever young in his eyes. This spring, try a new form of spiritual expression: say a prayer, hug a child and go fly a kite.
