Sacraments
Sacramental Guidelines:
The Sacramental Guidelines of the Archdiocese of Washington require that readiness be determined before children receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, and Reconciliation. Further questions, contact Father Hill.

Sacrament of Reconciliation:
Offered on Saturdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. or by appointment with a priest. Community reconciliation services are held each year during Advent and Lent.

Sacrament of Matrimony:
Couples contemplating marriage should contact one of the Parish priests at least six months in advance of their intended marriage.

Anointing of the Sick:
For persons suffering from a serious illness, it is intended as a source of comfort. It is not necessary to be in danger of death.
Sacramental Programs: 
Baptism instruction classes for parents are conducted monthly. Baptismal rites are conducted on Sundays. Contact Deacon Andrew Nosacek, 301-262-5755

Preparation for first reception of the Eucharist and Reconciliation, and the sacrament of Confirmation are conducted annually. Contact Debbie Langdon, 301-262-3644

Marriage Preparation is first conducted by a priest and then a married couple to help the engaged couple to better communicate and understand the sacramental commitment. Contact the rectory, 301-262-2141, Ext. 10

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the process through which non-Catholics learn about the Catholic faith and explore becoming fully initiated members of the church. Contact Sister Marty Gentilini, SSJ, 301-262-2141, Ext. 12
